Join the Capitol Civic Centre Community Chorale as they celebrate the season with their Holiday Concert, “Made in America.” The Chorale features 57 voices, including 12 UW-Manitowoc students, and is directed by Jim and Susie Miller.

All music in the Holiday Concert (with the exception of the audience sing-a-long Christmas Carols) is written and arranged by American composers.



Keeper of the Light, written for Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield Wisconsin tells the stories of the light house keepers on the Apostle Islands.

Wisconsin, the Gathering of the Waters, written by Jim Miller describes the uniquel features of our beautiful state.

Made, written by Kirk Miller and arranged by Jim Miller, a philosophical look at life.

Stephen Foster Medley, featuring some of the Stephen Foster songs you learned as a child.

Fascinating Rhythm, a pairing of two George Gershwin favorites

American Anthem, by Gene Scheer, a song of gratitude and duty

The Stars and Stripes Forever, the national march of the USA


The Christmas pieces include the Charlie Brown Christmas Time is Here, and other familiar and not so familiar Christmas songs, as well as a Christmas Carol audience sing-a-long.
