cho·rale

/kəˈral,-ˈräl/

noun

  1. a musical composition (or part of one) consisting of or resembling a harmonized version of a simple, stately hymn tune.
  2. a choir or choral society.

Due to current health concerns, the Community Chorale will not restart until January 2022.

Participating in the Chorale provides local singers of all ages the opportunity to gather, perform, and make new friends. In addition to learning classic songs, Chorale members also have the opportunity to perform original music.

Rehearsals are planned to take place weekly on Thursday evenings at Roncalli High School. Each “semester” of rehearsals culminates in a concert performance on the stage of the Capitol Civic Centre. There are also opportunities for additional community performances.

Tuition is $75 per semester or $140 for the year. Tuition fees cover the cost of music rental and licensing along with one complimentary ticket for each concert.

To sign up for a new member interview time, or to learn about the program, please contact Chorale Directors Jim and Susie Miller at (920) 684-4862 or via email at chorale@cccshows.org.

Upcoming Dates:

  • First Spring Rehearsal – January 13
  • Spring Concert – May 19
