We are pleased to announce the 2023-24 Adventure Series featuring three excellent shows. We sincerely realize the value of this educational (and fun) programming. We are so grateful to the Ruth St. John and John Dunham West Foundation for the ongoing support of these live performances!

Dot Dot Dot, Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024 (performances at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) This exciting new musical, geared for Grade 3, is based on the trio of award-winning picture books by New York Times bestselling author Peter H. Reynolds—The Dot, Ish, and Sky Color. Like the series, the musical celebrates the power of originality, self-expression, and opening our eyes to look beyond the expected.

Cat Kid Comic Club, Tuesday, April 9, 2024 (performances at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) Cat Kid and Molly Pollywog have started an epic club to teach 21 rambunctious baby frogs how to make their own comics. Their fishy father Flippy is overjoyed that his kids will learn to unleash their creativity, but when the frogs’ constant bickering and outrageous imaginations send their comics comically off the rails, Flippy flips out. This madcap musical, suited for Grade 1, is based on Dav Pilkey’s hilarious book series.

Bill Blagg’s Magic in Motion, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 (performances at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) Bill Blagg’s Magic in Motion melds the fascination of magic with the wonders of physical science to create an unbelievable educational experience. In this highly visual, inactive show, appropriate for Grade 5, audience members will be on the edge of their seats as they explore how science creates magic right before their eyes.
