MANITOWOC, WI – The Capitol Civic Centre is thrilled to invite the community to a spectacular lineup of musical comedies as regional favorites, Let Me Be Frank Productions, return to the historic stage. Spanning from this autumn into the spring, the powerhouse theatre troupe will bring four all-original, high-energy productions packed with laugh-out-loud humor and classic hit music to the Lakeshore.

Billing themselves as “theater for non-theater people,” Let Me Be Frank Productions has spent almost three decades entertaining Northeast Wisconsin with unique shows that combine the sketch-comedy energy of Saturday Night Live with the atmosphere of a live pop-and-rock concert.

Audiences can look forward to the following four dynamic productions:

  • Hocus Pocus Focus Group (Wednesday, October 7 at 7:00 pm): The Sanderson witches are back, and this time they are helping fellow ghouls and goblins overcome “postmortem haunting depression.” This spooky, satirical musical romp is powered by a playlist of favorite hit songs from the 1970s and 1980s.
  • A Frank’s Christmas (Tuesday, December 15 at 7:00 pm): Celebrating their 27th original holiday show, the troupe returns for a heartwarming, side-splitting Christmas tradition. The evening promises a festive mix of original comedy sketches alongside beautifully performed renditions of classic Christmas songs.
  • Quack Trip, The Musical (Wednesday, February 17, 2027, at 7:00 pm): Audiences are invited to pack their bags for a hilarious journey that is guaranteed to ruffle some feathers and keep crowds smiling from ear to ear with nostalgic tunes and sharp regional wit.
  • Schneider, Driving a Truck (Wednesday, April 21, 2027, at 7:00 pm): Wrapping up the spectacular season slate, this rockin’ musical romp takes a comedic look at the life and times of a legendary local trucking company, leaving audiences singing all the way home.

Each performance runs approximately 120 minutes. Due to the troupe’s trademark sketch comedy format, these shows may contain mild adult content that may not be suitable for all children.

Tickets for all four individual performances are available now, with seating options ranging from $38 to $43. The Capitol Civic Centre is also pleased to offer a special Rush Ticket discount: educators, students, and first responders can receive 50% off regular-priced tickets at the box office one hour prior to showtime by presenting a valid ID.
