FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MANITOWOC, WI – The Capitol Civic Centre is thrilled to announce that the spectacular tribute show, The Highwaymen Live, will take the stage on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. The Highwaymen Live celebrates what is perhaps the greatest country music supergroup in history: Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Willie Nelson. This 90-minute, full audio-visual experience brings the music and spirit of the legendary trio back to life.

Audiences will watch in amazement as performers Michael Moore (as Willie Nelson), August Manley (as Waylon Jennings), and Philip Bauer (as Johnny Cash) perform hit after hit, delivering an authentic recreation of a concert by the original band. The show features upbeat, honky-tonk classics, including “Ring of Fire,” “Dukes of Hazard,” “On the Road Again,” and “Mama Don’t Let Your Babies Grow up to be Cowboys.”

“This show is a must-see for fans of classic country,” said Executive Director PJ Albert. “These performers are regarded as some of the best tribute artists in the world, and bringing them together on our stage provides a rare opportunity for our community to relive the magic of these icons.”
