MANITOWOC, WI – The Capitol Civic Centre is excited to announce the return of the beloved holiday tradition, “The Nutcracker,” for its 50th year. Presented by the Jean Wolfmeyer School of Dance, this iconic ballet will be performed on Friday, December 12, through Sunday, December 14. Based on the fairy tale by E.T.A. Hoffmann with music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, this spectacular performance has delighted audiences of all ages for five decades.
“The Nutcracker” is part of the Salutz Law Variety Series, and is presented by Fricke Printing Service. Additional support is provided by Festival Foods, Nicolet Bank, and John and Laurale Stern.
Showtimes are Friday, December 12, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, December 13, at 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 14. Ticket prices range from $28 to $42 for regular admission and $21 to $35 for students.
