CENTENNIAL SOCIETY

In June 2021, the “Jewel of the Lakeshore,” will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the theater. To highlight this momentous occasion, the Capitol is introducing the new Capitol Centennial Society which will allow the staff and board to begin preparations for the celebration and assist with funding operations during this crucial time.

Three generous donors have committed gifts of $50,000 each as a kickoff to the Centennial Society. They are: Dr. Joseph and Eleanor DiRaimondo, Investors Community Bank, and Tim and Ann Salutz.

The Capitol now strives to match the generosity of these lead gifts with at least one hundred $1,500 contributions from community members interested in being memorialized as part of this historic occasion. Members of this prestigious group will receive the opportunity to name a seat in the balcony, be recognized at all events related to the anniversary celebration, and be listed in playbills and on the donor page of the Capitol’s website through the 2021-22 season.

Contributors are asked to make payments by December 31 to meet the matching gift goal.
