New for summer of 2017: Enjoy a tour of the Capitol Civic Centre! Tours are on the hour and are free. Thirty-minute tours (through Sept. 2 with the exception of July 4 and 28) are available weekdays at 11, 12, 1, 2, and 3 and Saturday tours are at 11, 12, 1, and 2.

Be prepared to learn more about the history of the Capitol as well as other fascinating information as you are guided through the five conjoined buildings, lovingly referred to as “The Jewel of the Lakeshore.” Tours will include the West Auditorium (the heart of the Capitol built in 1921), the Capitol Grand Lobby which includes the Salutz Family Lobby and the Mertens Family Lobby and Kadow Movie Museum, “The Masquers Stage,” as well as backstage areas and dressing rooms which typically are not experienced by the general public.

Enjoy a tour of the nearly 100 year-old Capitol Civic Centre this summer.
